Erosion Control Over-seeding project in Greenville, SC

A previous customer in Greenville, SC needed to have some over-seeding done to establish grass around a new construction project to minimize dirt coming into the building. There was also an erosion concern that needed to be addressed. We started the project by using our tractor and pulverizer attachment to break up the red clay and smooth out the surface. This created a good environment for the new seed to get established. After the ground was prepped, we seeded with a blend of fescue and perennial rye grass. The perennial rye is used to get grass quickly established and the fescue gives a beautiful, lush lawn. After we applied a starter fertilizer, we covered the area with a straw mat to help minimize any erosion while the new seed is established.
